5 Homemade Remedies for Cracked Heels

1) Pumice Foot Bath

- Warm water
- Moisturizing cream or almond/coconut oil
Instructions
- This foot bath works best one hour before bed or sleep.
- Heat the water and pour it into a container.
- Wait for the water to cool down enough to avoid scalding, and then place your feet in the water.
- Soak your feet in the hot water for 20 minutes.
- Remove your feet from the water and rub your heels with a pumice stone. Pay attention to the cracked area.
- Applying a little pressure is effective. After a few minutes, you will feel the heel soften.
- Then dip the foot in water to rinse off dead skin and dry it gently.
- Apply moisturizing cream and leave overnight. After applying the cream or oil, you may wear socks.
2) Treating Cracked Heels with Lemon and Glycerin
Glycerin moisturizes, and lemon removes dead skin cells with its acid.
Ingredients
- Warm water
- ½ cup (100 ml) rose water
- Sea salt
- ¼ cup (62 ml) lemon juice
- ½ cup (100 ml) glycerin

Preparation
- Heat water and pour into a large bowl.
- Add sea salt, lemon juice, and glycerin.
- Stir the ingredients quickly to dissolve.
- Soak the feet in this mixture for 15 minutes.

- Prepare the same mixture in a small bowl. However, use rose water instead of water.
- Mix everything to make a paste and apply it to the remaining rough areas of the heels.
- Then, put on socks and let them soak overnight.
- The next morning, rinse the feet.
- Repeat this operation for five consecutive days.
3) Papaya Repair Cream

- Place socks on the oiled feet and leave overnight.
